Ways to Glorify God

Here is God’s view of failure: He expects it, He forgives it, and then He uses it to conform us to the image of Christ.
“For the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost.”Luke 19:10

The Lord has  gone before us to make a way for us to fulfill our destiny.
WE are under the Lord’s protection, and He has made provision for us.
*However, the enemy will do what he can to undermine our sense of security and to abort the Lord’s plans and purposes for us.
**  Do not believe the enemies lies, and refuse to allow fear to undermine your faith.
The Lord tells us: ” I will never leave you nor forsake you”.

Ephesians 3:20-21   Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.

Ways to glorify God at Work

God has designed WORK for his glory and our good. But how might we glorify God at work?
This list is not exhaustive, but here’s a few —

1. Believe that ALL legitimate work is holy or unholy before God based on our faith, NOT the nature of the work itself.
*But whoever has doubts is condemned if he eats, because the eating is not from faith. For whatever does not proceed from faith is sin (Romans 14:23).

2. Be just and honest in all your dealings with money.
*A false balance is an abomination to the LORD, but a just weight is his delight (Proverbs 11:1)

3. Be prayerfully dependent upon God, pouring contempt on self-sufficiency.
*Pray without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 4:17)
*(Psalms 127:1).

4. Use the wages earned by your work to provide for and bless others.
*But if anyone does not provide for his relatives, and especially for members of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever (1Timothy 5:8).
*(Ephesians 4:28).

5. Grow in our skill-set, work hard, and strive for excellence.
*Do you see a man skillful in his work? He will stand before kings; he will not stand before obscure men (Proverbs 22:29).
* (Matthew 5:16).

6. Exemplify love for your neighbor in how you interact with your colleagues.
*Let all that you do be done in love (1 Corinthians 16:14).

7. Plan ahead and sincerely preface future tasks with “if God wills.”
*Prepare your work outside; get everything ready for yourself in the field, and after that build your house (Proverbs 24:27).
* (James 4:13-15)

8. Speak the gospel to your colleagues.
*Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God (2 Corinthians 5:20).

9. Work as unto the Lord and as unto men.
*Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men,knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ (Colossians 3:23-24).
*(1 Peter 2:18 ).

10. Focus on the work you’ve been given.
*Whoever works his land will have plenty of bread, but he who follows worthless pursuits will have plenty of poverty (Proverbs 28:19).

11. Speak words of grace. Speak words of blessings and peace continually.
*Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear (Ephesians 4:29)
* (Galatians 2:16-20).

Many of us, the Lord’s people, are approaching a turning point in which there will be a decided departure from what has been our accepted normal.
* When we are faced with change, the Lord will give us the grace and guidance to move forward in strength and the power of His Spirit if we will only trust Him.
At this time we must be willing to let go of what was in order to grasp what is to be.
**  Press on to obtain the prize of the upward call in Christ Jesus.

Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.
I’m understanding  its meaning now. If I seek God, I will find Him. I have to find Him first whether in the Word, His people, or trials, I call to Him and He will listen. With all my heart, I have to be vulnerable to the Lord.
Losing everything in return for the Lord’s presence and guidance is Perfect in His Timing not mine.
1)Give your past regrets to God.
2)God has plan for each one of us.
3) God is not finished with you yet
Thank you Jesus! Let me have the same faith YOU have in me.  May All the Glory and Praise be for You Lord!  Amen
